Diane is a Reserve World Champion, a Versatility Champion, and has 6 ROMs in Barrels, Poles, Aged Mares, Judged Heading, Judged Heeling, and Heading & Heeling. She's also a full sister to Diamond Bar Jo.
She is one of the most elegant mares you'll ever see. Even at 23, she's a beauty.
Last year she was brought out of retirement to be the help horse for Ali Pine, an outstanding young roping mare owned by Margie Berndt (pictured on the right above). Diane helped Ali Pine win a 5th in the timed Heading & Heeling. All this at age 20 and after weaning an Ima Doc O'Lena filly. Dave Windsor is pictured on Ali Pine and Jeff Carney is on Diane.
Thank-you Chuck Newman for training and showing Diane. She has been an outstanding rodeo and non-pro horse. Diane now competes in youth and walk-trot events with Eric and Alex Lund.
Diane's 4 year old , Arreba, is pictured here with her mom when she was two months old. Arreba is by Polo Pine (AQHA). Dr. Sis Windsor of Vinita, Oklahoma, owns her. This young mare will be used as a roping horse and a kid's horse.
